Sóstógyógyfürdő is the pride of Nyíregyháza - the city's resort area and its green lung. Right next to the spa beach, in a 3,600 m² park, the city's most extravagant hotel recreates the atmosphere of Barbizon.
The painters Mihály Munkácsy and László Paál, who worked in the little village of Barbizon hidden in the forests of Fontainebleau near Paris, would find the same inspiration and undisturbed calm here as in our world-famous namesake.

Frequently asked questions
Can I bring my pet?
Yes, Hotel Barbizon is pet-friendly: dogs and cats are welcome. Up to 5 kg 3,000 HUF, over 5 kg 6,000 HUF per pet per night.
When are the parties?
In the ground-floor retro disco every Saturday, occasionally on Fridays and public holidays. Rooms are noisy on those nights - please keep this in mind when booking. Hotel guests get tickets at half price.
When can I use the pools and the sauna?
The outdoor thermal and freshwater pools are free for guests in season (15 June - 30 Sept). The sauna is open again from 1 November.
Is breakfast included?
Yes, the buffet breakfast (7:00-10:00) is included in the room rate. If you leave before 7:00, we prepare a breakfast bag.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 14:00 (until 20:00), check-out until 11:00.
Is there a lift and parking?
There is no lift (3 floors). Parking is free in the inner car park and in the camera-monitored area in front of the hotel.
