Sóstó Zoo

A few hundred metres from the hotel, reachable on foot through the park along the lake shore: the much-praised Nyíregyháza Animal Park, a full-day experience for all ages.

Spa beach and water programmes

The renewed Mediterranean-style Sóstó spa beach with its many pools lies right next to Hotel Barbizon. Enjoy the healing effect of the famous Sóstó thermal water!

Aquarius water park

Carefree fun for young and old. The bromine and iodine thermal water helps with spinal, rheumatic, locomotor and gynaecological complaints, rehabilitation and aftercare.

Lake Bath

For lovers of natural water: a renovated lake bath that kept its turn-of-the-century charm, with a boating lake and pedalo and boat hire.

Fishing

Hobby and sport fishing. Fish in Sóstó: carp, grass carp, pike-perch, pike, bream, crucian carp, silver carp, catfish.

Night bathing

On Wednesdays and Fridays a special programme organised together with the neighbouring spa beach.
